You can be poor with a lot of riches to your name...you can be really
tall physically and be a small little man...(thinking along the same
lines..now..stay with me on this )...just remember you won't be a real
intellect just because you have so many degrees/certificates/experience. But
yet we often mistake intellect with education.
It's so amusing to see how people fight not on principles but on lack of
common sense. The human decency of this country has stooped to an all-time low.
It has come to a point where 'Buddhists' are resorting to violence to 'save the
religion and the race' which is unbelievable when you think of the basic
principles of Buddhist philosophy (it teaches to avoid the extremes. And that's
basically it...!). This is not a cry of help of exhaustion. This is an
expression of exhaustion.
People always try massaging their egos by telling themselves that they
are proud to belong to a certain race, a religion, a society, a school, a position
etc. But there’s nothing in it, really. You might get a kick out of that
feeling of belonging, by being a part of a crowd. May be for a while, may be it
will be enough to fill all the emptiness and the unpleasantness that surrounds
your life…but yet, there’s nothing but small men trying to make themselves feel
better…
