The wilderness of the modern society
It follows no logic and is so strange
Unnatural rush early in the morning, meaningless jobs
everyday
Pushed to work for a life
And then work becomes life; the life’s greatest tragedy
No time for family
No time to enjoy a sunset, to feel that warmth in your face,
No time to look up to the night sky and wonder about our
place in the universe
Without you knowing, you’re lost in the wilderness of the
modern society
Then you wonder where all the years went
And what happened to your youth
Where it all went while you were busy
Trying to make a better living
If I’m to be lost in someway
Make me go into the wild, the real wilderness
Civilized than the modern society, harmonious in every way
The place where I feel every breath I take
Where I enjoy each sun rise and sunset
The smooth rivers and the fresh springs
The delicate balance the Mother Nature has created
I want to be lost, in here
I want real people in my life
Not the imaginary ones who analyze friendships using a
profit and loss statement
I want to experience the life
Its simplicity in the most puristic form
Without being a slave to the economy or the corporate life
Please make me go into the wild
It’s way better to be lost in there than in the middle of million people
Who doesn't know or care about what you think
As they say
You need to be lost to find a place that you've
never been
before
I might get lost in the wild
But I just might find myself.
